Cool Classics For The Summer
We are in the thick of it (i.e. the Summer season) and the weather isn’t going to cool down anytime soon! This makes Summer the perfect time for barbecues, vacations, and simply just getting out of the house in general; enjoying the day. But you don’t have to spend your Summer in boring basics. These “Cool Classics” are timeless trends that compliment every body type and are effortlessly chic. Apply these 3 tips to your wardrobe for a guaranteed #certified fresh Summer!
SHADES OF WHITE:
You can do a little by playing with accessories that will compliment a denim outfit (such as denim shorts with a denim cold shoulder top) or you can have a fashion “white out”; dressing in white from head to toe (such as a white romper, white accessories, white heels or sandals, and a white handbag). White clothing is always a must have when it comes to Summer style. It’s fresh, chic, simple, and on point. You’ll never feel overheated or uncomfortable; enabling you to strut with confidence like the model you are!
PRETTY POLKA DOTS:
This is my personal favorite pattern to wear! This funky pattern is a classic style that can do no wrong. It’s playful yet subtle for when you are feeling extra fancy and want to wear something that will convey your personality. I suggest cropped blouses and dresses with this pattern; making for the perfect outfit for any Summer outing!
All of the trends that you admired as a preteen during the early 2000s are back in style! Don’t be afraid to let your inner pop star shine through. You can emulate this trend by embracing all that glitters! Choose from nail polishes, to glitter body lotion or body spray, to tanks, blouses, and tops. If you’re really bold you can incorporate glitter eyeshadow and/or lipgloss to your look; creating a fun and playful style that will turn heads for all the right reasons. You’ll look like the life of the party wherever you go!
Keep these tips in mind as you curate your Summer capsule or while you shop for the perfect Summer outfit for your next big event!
